There is Always an Alternative Space

It is easy to categorize everything as either black or white with nothing in between. It is strange how dichotomies govern our world…good and bad, love and hate, heaven and hell, science and art, beautiful and ugly, and the list can go on. Sometimes this can get very divisive and parochial.

Dichotomies divide, split, disjoin and separate. Sadly, dichotomies see the extremes of a bell curve, overlooking the bulging middle where the ‘majority’, the ‘most probable’ or the ‘reality’ lies. Don’t you think, seeing everything (people, situations, cultures, societies, events, histories, geographies, the arts, and sciences) as either black or white, turning a blind eye to the varied shades grey in between, is not only immature but irresponsible as well? It leads to wars, misunderstandings, deadlocks and breakdowns.

And that too at a time when we take pride in our being progressive and “smarter” than ever before!

Denying the very fundamental existence of grey in our lives is like turning away from reality for reality is ‘relative’. Truths change when we change our perspectives. Wouldn't the world be a better place if we could put our foot down and resist from either labelling or being labelled as stark black or pristine white?

Weetoo acknowledges and allows that space to everyone. There is no forced labelling, no coercion to belong to any camp, boundary, party, religion, thought, right or wrong in antithesis to the ‘other’. We are all free and independent like free flowing rivers. Let the various tints of grey rule.
